Concierge security, without the trade-off.

Front-desk professionals who protect the building while representing it to every person who walks through the door. The security standard does not drop because the role is customer-facing.

Two jobs, one person, no compromise

Concierge security asks someone to be welcoming and vigilant at the same time. Staffed badly, one side always loses: either the desk is warm and the access policy is porous, or the building is secure and residents find it unpleasant to come home.

We recruit for both and train for both. Officers are SIA-licensed and DBS-checked, and are additionally briefed on presentation, communication and the specific etiquette of the building — a Mayfair residential block and a shared-workspace lobby are not the same job.

What the desk actually handles

Access management and visitor screening, parcel and delivery handling, contractor sign-in, key and fob administration, resident and tenant liaison, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and first response to anything from a lift fault to a medical incident.

Fire safety and first aid training are standard for concierge placements, because in a residential building the desk is the first responder by definition.

Cover that does not leave gaps

Short-notice and emergency cover is available when a permanent concierge is off sick or leaves without notice — the situation that most often exposes a building. Short-term placements are briefed from the same written site handover as permanent cover, so residents are not re-explaining the building to a stranger.

Questions, answered.

Can you provide emergency concierge cover at short notice?
Yes. Short-notice replacement cover is one of the most common concierge requests we handle. For most London buildings we can place a briefed officer within 24 hours.
Are concierge officers trained in first aid and fire safety?
Fire safety and first aid training are standard for concierge placements. In a residential building the front desk is the first responder, so this is not treated as optional.
How is concierge security different from a standard security officer?
The security responsibilities are the same. The difference is that the concierge role is customer-facing and administrative as well — deliveries, resident liaison, contractor management and presentation all form part of the job.
